| Mr. Navin M Raheja, a post graduate in
Business Economics and Journalism, is a spirited
entrepreneur who undertook Real Estate business prior to the
liberalization wave in India. Over the past decade, Mr.
Raheja has been acknowledged as an accomplished performer
who has seen his company through many challenging times. His
sheer grit, determination and workmanship is exemplified in
his first residential complex built in 1991-92 on the
highest hill top of Nainital and there is no looking back
ever since. His farsightedness for the infrastructural
development needs in the National Capital Region is widely
acknowledged by all other builders & developers. Mr. Raheja
was the first developer to construct a commercial complex in
Integrated Modern Township at Manesar. Mr. Raheja believes
in technologies up gradation, innovative designs and is a
firm believer in quality product. keeping to the commitments
and delivering the project much ahead of the scheduled
targets, he is acknowledged as a quality player in the
Indian Realty sector. Under his dynamic leadership, the
company has achieved highest stature in professionalism,
quality controls and integrity in the Realty sector in
India. The company has now become synonymous for the highest
level of quality and customer satisfaction.
It was Mr. Raheja’s vision only that he was the first
amongst top four companies in India, Reliance, DLF and
Unitech to have got sanctioning of 5000 acres multi product
SEZ (Special Economic Zone), a 328 acres IT/ITES SEZ and
another 500 acres Engineering Sector SEZ in Haryana. Again
he is the 1st to involve successful Public-Private
partnership in execution of the said SEZ. These SEZs are
going to redefine Indian real estate standards and
opportunities by being the engines of growth of Indian
economy.
Mr. Raheja was invited as a Keynote Speaker on “Special
Economic Zones in India and Investments” at “The Global City
Expansion Congress 2007” at Abu Dhabi in February 2007.
Mr. Raheja has been co-opted as Co-Chairman of the Expert
Committee on SEZ by The Associated Chamber of Commerce &
Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) for the year 2007. He is also
on the Real Estate Expert Committees of FICCI and NAREDCO.
Mr Raheja has been elected to the Executive Committee of CII
and is nominated for the post of Vice President by Delhi
Regional Council of CII.
Apart from being a renowned builder, Mr. Raheja is an
avid wild lift enthusiast who is committed to the survival
of the Indian Tiger in its natural habitat. He was a member
of the Steering Committee of Project Tiger (1997-2002) and
Chairman, Wildlife Conservation Society of India under the
Ministry of Environment and Forests, Govt. of India.
